Job Description

Responsibilities
: Responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of IFS Application databases (primarily Oracle)

Support Implementation / Upgrade / Migration / Support Projects across IFS environments

Perform regular database monitoring, backup, and recovery operations

Collaborate with Functional and Technical teams to support application performance and resolve database-related issues

Participate in patching, cloning, and environment refresh activities

Ensure database security, availability, and compliance with standards and best practices

Support international and domestic IFS projects as required

Desired Candidate details
: Strong experience in managing Oracle databases (including RAC, ASM, RMAN, Dataguard, and performance tuning)

Experience in IFS Application installations, upgrades, and environment maintenance

Good knowledge of IFS architecture, database schemas, and middleware components

Experience with Linux/Unix OS and shell scripting

Good communication skills and willingness to support global clients in different time zones

Product Experience: IFS Applications (Apps 10/Cloud), Oracle Database

Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and work under pressure

Experience
: 3 to 15 years of total experience with proven hands-on expertise in Oracle DBA activities, especially in IFS environments

Educational Qualification
: Bachelor s or Master s in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent
