Job title: Sr Data Engineer

Experience: 9+

Location: Hyderabad

Notice period: Immediate joiners only

Mandatory skills: Databricks, scala, Pyspark, python, AWS and SQL along with excellent communication skills

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to build scalable data pipelines and enable efficient data processing using modern platforms like Databricks, AWS, Scala, Pyspark

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines for ingestion and transformation
• Perform data ingestion into Delta Lake with proper optimization techniques
• Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)
• Develop workflows using Databricks (PySpark) and orchestrate using Apache Airflow
• Work with AWS services (S3, Redshift, EMR, Glue, Lambda)
• Manage and optimize Snowflake workloads (query tuning, warehouse management)
• Build scalable Lakehouse architectures for analytics
• Collaborate with analytics teams and support BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
• Ensure data governance, security, and pipeline reliability
• Monitor pipelines and troubleshoot production issues

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong expertise in Python, PySpark, and Databricks
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Snowflake
• Strong experience with Apache Airflow
• Good understanding of Delta Lake, Lakehouse, and Medallion Architecture
• Experience in ETL/ELT design and performance tuning
• Knowledge of distributed systems and data processing
