Job Description
To strengthen our BIM Engineering team, we are looking for an experienced Senior MEP BIM Modeler with strong technical proficiency in Revit and a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for international projects.
Position Summary
The Architectural BIM Modeler will be responsible for developing and coordinating high-quality 3D architectural BIM models using Revit while ensuring compliance with project standards and timelines. The role involves creating various types of Revit families, preparing accurate architectural drawings, and supporting coordination activities for both new and existing projects. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in BIM modeling, drafting, and architectural detailing, along with effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage different types of Revit families including Type, Instance, Parametric, and families using Formulas & Lookup Tables.
- Develop 3D Architectural BIM models in Revit Architecture following project standards and best practices.
- Perform model coordination and support interdisciplinary collaboration using Navisworks (basic level).
- Prepare 2D drawings in AutoCAD including plans, sections, elevations, and detailed architectural drawings from BIM models.
- Ensure high accuracy, quality, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Coordinate design elements and verify dimensions, details, and documentation for completeness.
- Support both new and existing project requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure adherence to company BIM standards.
- Demonstrate flexibility and readiness for onsite project requirements when needed.
- Effectively communicate within teams and respond constructively to feedback and criticism.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification: B.Tech / B.E in Civil Engineering or Architecture (preferred)
Experience: Approximately 1.5 to 3 years in Architectural BIM Modeling
Software / Technical Skills:
- Revit Architecture
- AutoCAD
- Navisworks (Basic)
- MS Office
Additional Skills & Attributes:
- Strong drafting knowledge
- Basic communication skills (Hindi language preferred)
- Flexibility and strong questioning/problem-solving ab.
