We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Consultant / Senior Manager Temenos T24 & Payment Hub to lead and deliver complex payments and core banking transformation programs. The role requires deep functional and technical expertise in Temenos T24, Temenos Payment Hub (TPH), ISO 20022, clearing systems, and payments processing, with strong ownership of end-to-end delivery across design, build, testing, and go-live phases. The ideal candidate will act as a Payments SME and solution leader, driving STP automation, clearing integrations, and regulatory-compliant payment solutions for global and regional banks.
Key Responsibilities (Temenos T24 & Payment Hub)
- Lead endtoend implementation and enhancement of Payments solutions using Temenos T24 and Temenos Payment Hub (TPH)
- Own Payments workstream delivery including analysis, design, build, testing, and golive support
- Configure and process internal book transfers, standing orders, teller transactions, and account postings in T24
- Implement outward and inward Customer & Bank Transfers using ISO messages in TPH
- Configure and process RTGS, Instant Payments, and Bulk Credit Transfers
- Implement Direct Debit processing (Mandates & Collections) and Cheque clearing (Customer, Bankers, Certified)
- Design and deliver clearing and settlement integrations (SIC, Fedwire, SWIFT)
- Develop and maintain XSLT style sheets for ISO 20022 and local clearing file formats
- Set up Messaging Framework (JMS) and ESB integrations using Apache Camel / ActiveMQ
- Enable StraightThrough Processing (STP) for inward and outward payments
- Automate payment validations, rejections, and exception handling with proper reason codes
- Configure fees, charges, taxes, and accounting rules for payment products
- Prepare and review FSD, TSD, BSD, and technical design documents
- Support Temenos T24 upgrades (R22+ to R25) including impact analysis and retrofits
- Coordinate SIT, UAT, DR testing, production cutover, and postgolive support
- Act as Payments SME for business users, architects, and downstream systems
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 15+ years of handson experience in Temenos T24
- Strong expertise in Temenos Payment Hub (TPH)
- Indepth knowledge of Payments lifecycle and clearing systems
- Proven experience with ISO 20022 and SWIFT MT/MX messages
- Strong understanding of RTGS, Instant Payments, Direct Debits, Bulk Payments, and Cheque Clearing
- Excellent knowledge of InfoBasic, JBase, TAFC, TAFJ
- Experience with Temenos Integration Framework and Interaction Framework
- Strong experience in Payments message configuration and routing in TPH
- Handson development of XSLT for clearing and payment files
- Experience with JMS, Messaging Framework
- Strong handson knowledge of Apache Camel and ActiveMQ
- Experience integrating T24/TPH with upstream and downstream systems
- Working knowledge of Java and SQL
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments
- Strong experience in preparing Functional and Technical Specification documents
- Proven ability to work across SDLC phases (Design, Build, Test, Deploy)
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT, DR, and Production releases
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science / IT (or equivalent)
- Temenos Certified Consultant T24 (Core & Business Modules) (mandatory or highly preferred)
