Job Description
We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our backend development team. You will play a critical role in designing and developing server-side applications, ensuring performance, and writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using PHP.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices.
- Integrate with third-party services and APIs to extend functionality.
- Work with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) for backend data storage and manipulation.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and UI/UX designers to implement features and functionality.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from planning, coding, testing, deployment, to support.
- Ensure code is properly versioned, maintained, and documented.
- Follow agile methodologies and best practices in backend development.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues quickly.
- Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration techniques.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience with unit testing and debugging tools.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and grow within the team.
