Job Description
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Salesforce CRM Subject Matter Expert to support a small group of business users and help them get the most out of the platform. This role focuses on day to day user support, basic configuration, and staying updated on new Salesforce features and capabilities. You will work closely with Salesforce and internal teams to ensure the system runs smoothly and continues to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
User Support
- Provide daily support to a small group of Salesforce users.
- Troubleshoot issues related to data access, reports, dashboards, and basic system functions.
- Help users understand how to use Salesforce features effectively.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and profiles.
Configuration & Administration
- Perform basic Salesforce configuration, such as:
- Creating or updating fields, page layouts, record types
- Building or modifying simple workflows, validation rules, and automation
- Updating dashboards and reports
- Maintain data quality through regular checks, cleanups, and guidance to users.
Feature & Release Management
- Work with Salesforce to understand new features, releases, and platform updates.
- Assess new capabilities and recommend how they can be used internally.
- Support small enhancements or system improvements.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with Salesforce support and account teams when technical help is needed.
- Communicate system changes, new features, or known issues to users.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and make sure Salesforce is aligned with business processes.
Documentation & Training
- Maintain simple user guides, FAQs, and process documents.
- Provide training sessions or refreshers to ensure users are comfortable with the system.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with Salesforce CRM
- Good understanding of basic Salesforce configuration and user management.
- Clear communication skills and ability to explain system features in simple terms.
- Problemsolving mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work with vendors and internal teams.
- Salesforce Admin Certification (nice to have, not mandatory).
