We are seeking a talented and experienced .NET/.NET Core Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using the Microsoft .NET platform (including .NET Core/5+). This role requires a commitment to writing clean, scalable, and secure code, following best practices, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software applications that meet business needs and exceed user expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C#, .NET, and .NET Core/5+ frameworks.
- Architecture & Design: Collaborate with solution architects and business analysts to translate complex business requirements into efficient technical designs and functional code, leveraging appropriate design patterns (e.g., MVC, microservices).
- Best Coding Practices & Quality Assurance: Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code, adhering to established coding standards and applying SOLID principles.
- Secure Coding: Implement robust security measures, including secure authentication and authorization, data encryption, and preventative measures against common vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injections, XSS), to ensure data protection and application security.
- Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough unit testing (using frameworks like NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest) and debugging to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and functionality of applications.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely within an Agile/Scrum team, participating actively in sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including designers and product managers.
- Integration: Integrate data storage solutions (SQL Server, NoSQL databases) and third-party APIs/web services to enhance application functionality.
- Documentation & Mentorship: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and, for senior roles, mentor junior developers on best practices and secure development techniques.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and .NET framework updates to propose innovative solutions and ensure the technical stack remains current and efficient.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET platform (.NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API). o Expertise in database design and management with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework).
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ideally a modern front-end framework (Angular, React). o Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure) and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments).
- Proficiency with version control systems, specifically Git.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team oriented, agile environment.
- Strong commitment to code quality and a security-first mindset in the development process
