Job Description:
We are looking for a hands-on AWS Integration Architect to design and deliver cloud-native, event-driven integrations across the retail ecosystem, including Retail ERPs, Salesforce, OMS, and E-commerce platforms. The role requires strong architectural expertise along with the ability to contribute to development when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and own AWS-native integration architecture (API-led, event-driven, microservices)
- Develop integrations using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, Step Functions, and Glue
- Integrate enterprise systems including retail platforms, Salesforce, SaaS applications, and payment systems
- Drive hybrid integrations (on-premise to AWS) and cloud migration strategies
- Ensure scalability, resilience, and security using AWS best practices (IAM, etc.)
- Define standards for API design and guide teams on DevOps and IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation)
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS integration services (Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, Step Functions, Glue)
- Expertise in event-driven and microservices architecture
- Proven experience in REST API design and API Gateway implementations
- Experience integrating large-scale enterprise systems
- Knowledge of data integration (ETL, S3, Glue, Redshift)
- Programming experience in Python / Java / Node.js
- Experience with cloud migration and hybrid integration (on-prem to AWS)
- Strong understanding of AWS security best practices (IAM)
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in the retail domain
- AWS Solutions Architect certification (Associate or Professional)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to DevOps practices and IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation)
