.NET Application Developer @ CGI

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end production support for enterprise-grade .NET applications.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues within SLA timelines.
• Support and maintain applications built using:
• .NET Framework 4.8.1
• ASP.NET MVC
• Razor
• .NET Core 4.8
• Blazor
• Work on modernization and enhancement initiatives for legacy applications.
• Develop, test, and integrate applications with third-party services, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams for issue resolution and deployments.
• Monitor application performance and implement performance optimization techniques.
• Handle data transformations, enhancements, and processing using .NET libraries, SQL connectors, and related tools.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and provide preventive solutions.
• Ensure application stability, security, and availability in production environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• 57 years of hands-on experience in .NET application development and production support.
• Strong proficiency in:
• .NET Framework 4.8.1
• ASP.NET MVC
• Razor Pages
• .NET Core
• Blazor
• REST APIs
• Experience working with AWS cloud services.
• Strong expertise in SQL databases and query optimization:
• Joins
• Aggregations
• Window functions
• Date functions
• Partitioning
• Indexing
• Performance tuning
• Experience with NoSQL databases is preferred.
• Good understanding of unit testing frameworks and coding best practices.
• Experience in debugging, logging, monitoring, and issue tracking tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes is an added advantage.
