Role & responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Senior Consultant will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team Process Consultants engaged in process discovery, mapping, and documentation for our overseas client. This role involves acting as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the onshore UST representative, ensuring effective communication, quality assurance, governance, and risk management for the engagement. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills, in addition to expertise in process mapping.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management & Supervision:
- Oversee, mentor, and support a team of Process Consultants to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Act as the offshore SPOC, coordinating with the onshore UST representative to align team efforts with project objectives.
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and conduct periodic reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
Process Governance & Risk Management:
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks to oversee process mapping activities.
- Identify and mitigate risks or challenges that may impact project timelines and quality.
- Ensure adherence to client standards, industry best practices, and project guidelines.
- Proactively address potential bottlenecks and escalate critical issues as needed.
Process Discovery & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Guide the team in conducting process discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of gathered process-related data.
- Align process mapping outputs with the strategic objectives of the clients business.
Process Mapping & Documentation:
- Review and validate detailed process maps created by the team using ARIS.
- Ensure well-structured process documentation, including workflows and SOPs at L3 to L4 level.
- Maintain version control and updates for process documentation as needed.
- Ensure documentation meets the client's standards and business requirements.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Act as the primary liaison between the offshore team and the onshore UST representative.
- Ensure clear and structured communication of process findings and recommendations.
- Present process maps, risks, and governance updates to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Process Architects and other senior consultants to ensure project alignment.
Preferred candidate profile
- Strong experience in process consulting, process mapping, or related roles.
- Experience in managing teams and delivering high-quality process documentation.
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Experience with ARIS or similar process mapping tools.
- Strong interviewing, communication, and articulation skills to interact with international clients.
- Ability to anticipate risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
- Proficiency in business process documentation and governance frameworks.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail in process visualization and mapping.
