Job Description
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Azure DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline development, cloud infrastructure, and containerized environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable deployment pipelines while ensuring efficient and reliable application delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support application deployment
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability and cost efficiency
- Develop and manage automated deployment processes across environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable seamless integration and delivery
- Integrate and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions for proactive issue detection
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to builds, deployments, and infrastructure
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 - 7 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
- Cloud Platform: Microsoft Azure
- Containerization: Docker
- Container Orchestration: OpenShift
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience in designing and managing automated deployment pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred (Good-to-Have) Skills
- Exposure to release management and automation practices
- Basic understanding of security, compliance, and FinOps principles
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates)
- Knowledge of enterprise DevOps frameworks and best practices
Monitoring & Observability
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana
Additional Considerations
- Experience in system reliability, performance optimization, and ITIL processes is advantageous but not mandatory
- Configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) are not mandatory
Soft Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities
- Proactive approach with a solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
