Job Description
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Consultant to join our Application Development team. The role involves delivering enhancements, custom developments, and system optimizations within Oracle E-Business Suite (R11i/R12). The candidate will collaborate with business and functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement minor enhancements and custom solutions across Oracle EBS modules such as Finance, HRMS, and Procurement
- Design and build RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions)
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL/PL-SQL queries
- Develop Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and BI Publisher reports
- Customize and extend Oracle Application Framework (OAF) components
- Work with Oracle APIs, REST/SOAP services, and file-based integrations
- Support system integration with third-party applications
- Participate in design, development, and testing of technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues ensuring system stability
- Support upgrades, patches, and system enhancements
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand and implement requirements
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security policies
- Maintain technical documentation and solution designs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Oracle EBS (R11i/R12)
- Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience with Oracle Forms, Reports, and BI Publisher
- Hands-on experience in OAF customization and personalization
- Knowledge of Oracle APIs and integration techniques (REST/SOAP)
- Experience in developing RICE components
- Strong understanding of EBS modules: Finance, Procurement, HRMS
- Experience in EBS upgrades and patching
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Preferred / Desired Skills
- Experience with third-party integrations (payment gateways, external systems)
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS security and data management
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience with version control tools like Git
