Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to define and drive enterprise data architecture strategy, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing data ecosystems. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing modern data platforms, enabling analytics, and supporting business transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise data architecture strategy aligned with business goals
• Design and oversee end-to-end data solutions (Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Lakehouse architecture)
• Establish data models, standards, governance frameworks, and best practices
• Lead architecture for cloud-based data platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
• Collaborate with business, engineering, and analytics teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Ensure data quality, security, compliance, and performance optimization
• Drive adoption of modern data technologies including real-time data processing and streaming
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and developers
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks for data management
• Support pre-sales and client engagements by providing architecture solutions and estimations

Technical Skills Required

• Strong experience in Data Architecture, Data Modeling (ER, Dimensional Modeling)
• Expertise in Data Warehousing & ETL/ELT frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms (Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery)
• Experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop ecosystem)
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, or Scala
• Exposure to Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage tools
• Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Event Hub, etc.)
• Knowledge of API-based data integration and microservices architecture

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Lakehouse architectures (Databricks / Snowflake)
• Understanding of AI/ML data pipelines and MLOps frameworks
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)

TOGAF or relevant architecture certifications
