Project Coordinator/Team Lead WordPress
We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator/Team Lead to manage WordPress projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth communication with clients and internal teams. The role involves leading a team of WordPress developers, coordinating tasks, and overseeing project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance to meet client expectations. Strong project management, WordPress development experience, and excellent client communication are key to this role. Additionally, a basic understanding of PHP is required, as there may be cases where PHP-based projects or tasks arise.
Work timing: 2 pm to 11 pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements, goals, and deadlines.
- Project Coordination: Manage the full project lifecycle, including project scoping, planning, task assignment, progress tracking, and delivery. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate a team of WordPress developers, ensuring collaboration, resource allocation, and smooth workflow across tasks.
- WordPress Development: Collaborate with the development team to handle tasks in WordPress, including site builds, theme customization, plugin implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Regularly report project status and updates to clients and internal teams, addressing any concerns or changes in scope.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the final deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, are fully functional, and perform well across various platforms and devices.
Core Requirements:
- Proven experience in WordPress development (theme and plugin development, customizations, troubleshooting).
- Strong background in project coordination and team management within the web development space.
- Excellent client communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations and build strong, long-term client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage resources, and ensure project milestones are met.
- Experience using project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, JIRA, Monday.com) to organize and track projects.
- Solid understanding of WordPress best practices, including SEO and performance optimization.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to handle complex technical and project-related issues.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):
- ASP.NET and PHP knowledge to bridge development gaps and better collaborate with backend developers.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience working with version control systems (Git).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies or similar project management frameworks.
