Job Description
Role Overview
The role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and adherence to accounting standards and corporate guidelines. The incumbent will manage end-to-end accounting processes, including journal entries, monthly closing, reconciliations, and management reporting. Key responsibilities include maintaining fixed asset registers, prepaid amortization schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations, as well as implementing and ensuring compliance with IFRS standards, particularly IFRS 16.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Ensure full statutory compliance of accounting policy and standards and corporate guidelines and maintain proper documentation of accounting policy and procedure.
- Create and post journal entries related to the monthly closing of books of accounts including payroll accounting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly & yearly management report schedules and variance analysis.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and resolve differences.
- Handling implementation of IFRS such as IFRS 16 and their accounting aspects
Job Requirements :
- Charted Accountant with 8 to 10 years of experience in general ledger accounting, intercompany accounting, or related field.
- Strong understanding of R2R process, including balance sheet reconciliation, accruals, and month end reporting.
Relevant Experience in reputed Captive/Outsourcing RTR Ops
