Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience in building scalable, high-performance mobile applications. The candidate should have strong expertise in real-time features, application architecture fundamentals, and performance optimization, along with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and contribute to technical decisions..
Key Responsibilities-
- Design and develop scalable and maintainable Android applications.
- Define and implement app architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture, Modularization).
- Lead development efforts and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Backend, QA, Product) to deliver high-quality features.
- Implement real-time features, background processing, and offline-first capabilities.
- Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and app stability.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best coding practices.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and ensure quick resolution.
- Optimize apps for memory usage, battery efficiency, and network performance.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and decision-making.
Required Skills-
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin (preferred) and Java.
- Deep understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack Components (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, WorkManager).
- Strong experience in MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modular app design.
- Expertise in REST APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data handling.
- Experience with Room / SQLite / Realm databases.
- Strong knowledge of multithreading (Coroutines, Flow, RxJava).
- Experience with dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger).
- Hands-on experience with Firebase (FCM, Crashlytics, Analytics).
- Experience with Git and version control workflows.
- Strong understanding of app security best practices.
Good to Have-
- Experience with Payment Gateway Integration.
- Knowledge of Google Maps & location-based services.
- Experience with BLE / IoT integration.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, etc.).
- Familiarity with Unit Testing & UI Testing (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito).
- Experience with modular/multi-module projects.
- Exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) or cross-platform tools.

- Ability to own end-to-end feature delivery.
- Mentor and guide team members.
- Drive technical improvements and innovation.
- Participate in hiring and technical interviews.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Soft Skills-
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Bonus-
- Published apps on the Google Play Store.
- Experience working on large-scale applications with high user base.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
