Job Description
Subexis seeking a seasoned Principal Consultant Telecom Fraud Management with strong operator-side experience to lead fraud prevention, detection, andrevenue risk transformation initiatives. This role demands deep telecom fraud expertise, strong consulting capabilities, andthe ability to design, optimize, and transform Fraud Management functionsacross diverse revenue streams including mobile, fixed, roaming, interconnect,and partner ecosystems. You will work closely with operators to shape fraudstrategy and influence stakeholders up to CxO level
KeyResponsibilities:
- Lead fraud risk assessments across prepaid, postpaid, interconnect, roaming, partner, network, and digital services domains.
- Design and deploy Fraud Management functions within telecom operator environments.
- Evaluate and optimize fraud systems (rules, thresholds, audits, adaptors) to enhance detection and prevention.
- Develop forward-looking fraud detection strategies aligned with evolving fraud trends and regulatory requirements.
- Research emerging fraud schemes and recommend proactive countermeasures.
- Collaborate with Billing, Revenue Assurance, IT, Network, and Customer Operations teams to implement effective fraud controls.
- Provide strategic advisory and thought leadership on fraud frameworks and transformation initiatives.
- Present fraud roadmaps, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership, including CxO stakeholders.
- Align practices with global industry standards and forums (GSMA, CFCA, TM Forum, RAG, etc.).
WhatWere Looking For:
- 8 to 10 years of hands-on Telecom Fraud Management experience with telecom operators.
- Strong understanding of telecom business processes, call flows, and customer lifecycle across mobile and fixed services.
- Proven expertise in fraud detection systems, rule configuration, audits, and adaptor management.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and executive presentations.
PreferredSkills:
- Exposure to global telecom fraud forums (GSMA, CFCA, TM Forum, Risk & Assurance Group, W3C).
- Experience in consulting-led transformation programs in fraud or risk assurance domains.
- Relevant fraud or risk certifications (advantage).
Goodto Have:
- Knowledge of data science concepts and AI/ML applications in Fraud Management.
- Familiarity with Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) techniques for fraud investigation.
