Job Description

Knowledge & Skills

- Strong programming in one or more: Java/TypeScript/Python; solid OOP/clean code.

- UI automation: Selenium or Playwright; mobile: Appium; BDD: Cucumber/Gherkin.

- API automation: REST Assured/Playwright request/ReadyAPI/Postman (collections and

Newman); schema/contract validation.

- Build/CI: Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub Actions; artifact/versioning; test reporting

(Allure/Extent).

- Cloud & Containers: Docker basics, containerised test execution; experience with BrowserStack or similar.

- Data & DB: SQL for validations; synthetic/masked test data strategies.

- Service virtualisation & contract testing: WireMock/MockServer; OpenAPI/Pact awareness.

- Observability: ability to read logs/metrics/traces for rapid triage.

- Security & Accessibility basics; performance testing awareness (e.g., JMeter/Gatling).

- Responsible use of AI-enabled testing tools; prompt hygiene, review and documentation.

Experience Experience: -

8-9 Yrs years in Test Automation with enterprise systems; financial services/Life Insurance preferred.

Educational Qualification:-

Graduate in Engineering/Technology or related discipline; ISTQB (TAE), Agile/Scrum and Cloud fundamentals are advantageous.

Education - Graduate in Computer Science, Finance, or related discipline.
