Job Description

 
  • Function as the Professional Services functional and technical SME within the Actimize PS Sales team and a trusted advisor to Actimize Customers and Prospects
  • Collaborate closely with Services Sales Managers, Services Business Analysts and Technical Leads, License/Product Pre-sales specialists and License/Product Sales Managers to translate Client/Prospect s business requirements into functional scope within the Actimize solutions and provide recommendations in terms of implementation approach, scope definition, services positioning and identify potential value-added services.
  • Deliver functional and technical Professional Services pre-sales sales presentations to executive levels of Client/Prospect organizations and assist in the preparation of formal proposals to both existing and new Clients.
  • Provide and review project/services effort/resourcing estimations to ensure correct sizing of services engagements based on scope, approach, timelines etc.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual professional services sales targets.
  • Liaise with internal Actimize teams (Professional Services, Product, License Pre-sales, SMEs) to capture industry trends to identify and shape new services offerings and align sales strategy/sales campaigns accordingly
  • Understand the market and our customer s focus and drive the Actimize Services Pre-Sales strategy Strategy for the EMEA and APAC (International Markets).
  • Build and own the Actimize Professional Services library of collateral including presentation templates, various Client facing material and internal effort estimation/resourcing tool(s)
  • Provide enablement and guidance to the PS Sales team in terms of the Actimize solution capabilities, implementation approach/methodology, scoping, red flags/risks identification etc.
  • Identify strategic sales initiatives based on current and future technology needs
  • Articulate and promote the value of Actimize professional services both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with Product/License Sales and License/Product Pre-sales specialists in the designated region to provide services-related responses to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Prepare compelling client proposals for Professional Services using in-house developed templates.
  • Lead, participate in, and contribute to Actimize events, roundtables, and webinars to raise awareness of Actimize Professional Services capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Financial services experience (banking, brokerage, or insurance) - A MUST
  • Deep understanding of Professional Services and knowledge of core business domains such as strategy, operations, data analysis techniques and artificial intelligence.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience within the financial crime domain would be a strong plus
  • Knowledge and experience with Actimize AML and/or Fraud Solution sets would be an advantage
  • Experience with consultative selling and associated methodologies.
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and larger audiences at industry events.
  • Experience with industry-standard sales forecasting methodologies.
  • Strong business and finance acumen, experienced in building complex business cases.
  • Able to work autonomously and independently, as well as being a strong collaborator capable of leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills.
  • Highly skilled at articulating the value of services both in lead roles where services are sold as stand-alone engagements and as part of an overall solution sale.
  • Professional client-facing demeanor.
  • Ability to problem-solve and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple opportunities on strict deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic and ownership of your work product.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with, and influence, all levels of an organization including C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Ability to successfully manage Client relationships and individual engagements with a strong focus on sales and delivery excellence.
  • Very strong multi-tasked who thrives in a very fast-paced environment, leading with a "can-do" attitude and an effective problem-solving approach.
