Job Description
We are seeking a skilled LoanIQ Operations Business Analyst with strong functional knowledge of LoanIQ and syndicated / corporate lending operations. The candidate will work closely with operations, technology, and business stakeholders to support system enhancements, process improvements, issue resolution, and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements related to LoanIQ modules.
- Translate operational needs into functional specifications.
- Conduct gap analysis between current and target processes.
- Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
- Strong working knowledge of LoanIQ modules including:
- Deal Setup
- Drawdowns
- Interest & Fee Processing
- Payments
- Agency functions
- Accounting entries
- Support configuration and parameter changes in LoanIQ.
- Work closely with IT teams for enhancements and defect fixes.
- Partner with loan operations teams to resolve production issues.
- Analyze root causes of system/process defects.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Identify automation opportunities.
- Assist in reconciliations and regulatory reporting alignment.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, Finance, and Technology teams.
- Communicate project updates and risks effectively.
- Improve STP (Straight Through Processing).
- Contribute to operating model transformation initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Corporate Lending / Syndicated Loans.
- Strong hands-on experience with LoanIQ.
- Good understanding of:
- Loan lifecycle
- Interest calculations
- Accruals
- Agency servicing
- Accounting flows
- Experience in writing BRD/FRD.
- Knowledge of SQL (preferred but optional).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in UAT and defect management.
