Job Description
Loan IQ - Business Analyst
Role & responsibilities:
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams for LoanIQ implementations and enhancements
- Gather, analyze, and document requirements across LoanIQ modules (syndication, servicing, interest, fees, payments)
- Prepare functional specifications, data mapping, and interface design documents
- Support system configuration, workflows, accounting rules, and reporting needs
- Work on integrations with upstream/downstream systems (GL, payments, reporting platforms)
- Collaborate with developers on APIs, batch jobs, and customizations
- Assist QA with test scenarios, test cases, and UAT support
- Handle data migration, reconciliation, and defect analysis (RCA)
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal controls
- Strong experience as a LoanIQ Business Analyst
- Good understanding of loan lifecycle, syndication, servicing, interest, and fees
- Hands-on experience with SQL, data analysis, and reconciliation
- Knowledge of interfaces (inbound/outbound), APIs, and batch processing
- Familiarity with Agile / SDLC methodologies
- Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
Loan IQ - QA
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing for LoanIQ modules
- Validate end-to-end loan lifecycle processes including Deal Setup, Drawdowns, Repayments, Interest, Fees, Amendments, and Payoffs
- Create and execute test cases based on BRD/FRD
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA/ALM
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders
- Participate in release cycles and production validation
- Support SIT and UAT phases
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience in Finastra LoanIQ testing
- Strong understanding of Commercial Lending / Corporate Banking domain
- Knowledge of loan lifecycle, syndication, interest calculations, and fee processing
- Experience in SQL for data validation
- Familiarity with Agile methodology
- Experience with defect management tools (JIRA, ALM, etc.)
Good to Have:
- Automation knowledge (Selenium or similar)
- Experience in LoanIQ upgrades or implementation projects
- Exposure to API and interface testing
Loan IQ - Product Support
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams for Loan IQ implementations and enhancements.
- Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements related to Loan IQ modules (Syndicated Loans, Bilateral Loans, Agency, Servicing, Fees, Interest, etc.).
- Prepare functional specifications, technical design documents, data mapping, and interface specifications.
- Support Loan IQ configuration, workflows, notices, accounting rules, and reporting requirements.
- Work on system integrations between Loan IQ and upstream/downstream systems (GL, payment systems, data warehouses, regulatory reporting).
- Support data migration, reconciliation, and conversion activities.
- Collaborate with developers on customization, APIs, batch jobs, and interfaces.
- Assist QA teams by preparing test scenarios, test cases, and UAT support.
- Analyse defects, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal controls.
