Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
- Develops, codes, tests, and debugs complex full stack applications and API solutions
- Leads design and architecture of scalable backend systems and APIs using Java / Spring Boot / SpringAI
- Designs, plans, develops, and improves applications using modern full stack technologies including React
- Works on complex issues requiring deep understanding of system design, API architecture, and organizational goals
- Implements best practices in API design, security, scalability, and performance optimization
- Encourages high coding standards, best practices, and high-quality deliverables across the team
- Regularly interacts with architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams on project and system design decisions
- Provides technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members
- Drives adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for scalable and efficient solutions
- Contributes to integrating GenAI capabilities into API and application layers
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Full Stack Development or related field, with strong ownership of production systems and APIs
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong experience in backend development using Java, Spring Boot, and API development
- Solid experience with front-end technologies, especially React
- Strong system design and architecture experience for scalable applications
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native application development
- Strong database knowledge (SQL/NoSQL), data modeling, and performance tuning
- Experience owning and managing production-grade APIs and systems
- Exposure to GenAI / LLM-based applications is a plus
- Experience in fast-paced Agile development environments
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
- Self-disciplined and commitment-oriented
