Functional Safety Engineer @ Pi Square Technologies

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Create functional safety goals and cascade requirements in adherence to ISO 26262

2. Develop safety related documentation including safety plan, safety case, item definitions, HARAs, FTAs, DFMEAs and similar

3. Ensure all safety related requirements are defined, complete and traceable through to verification and validation

4. Work with independent reviewers to audit and ensure functional safety compliance

5. General Duties

6. Undertake any other duties / tasks assigned, which may include providing support to other departments.

7. Suggest & implement approved improvements to company processes

8. Represent Plastic Omnium in a professional manner

9. Be knowledgeable about the full range of Plastic Omnium work

10. Health & Safety

11. To follow all Health and Safety procedures.

12. To identify any Health & Safety concerns in your day-to-day work and escalate as appropriate.
