Java Aws Developer @ Virtusa

Job Description

Role Overview:

• Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, RESTful API design, and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS, SNS/SQS, and CloudWatch
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, Git version control, and CI/CD pipelines
• Proven leadership skills, including experience leading distributed development teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end technical delivery of cloud-native applications using Java and AWS
• Design and architect secure, scalable, and resilient systems using microservices and serverless patterns
• Guide teams in implementing solutions using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and AWS services
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to clean architecture and design principles
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to define and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Mentor team members on technical and Agile best practices
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans
• Ensure performance, scalability, monitoring, and observability of applications
• Stay up to date with emerging AWS services and Java development trends
