Job Description
1 Implement and maintain health and safety standards.
1.1 Maintain compliance with all safety regulations.
1.2 Regular walkthrough inspections of work areas
1.3 Identifying and addressing immediate safety concerns and observation.
1.4 Knowledge about the work permit (e.g. hot work, cold work, work at height, excavation), filling up proper permit of external contractors working at site.
1.5 Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and monitor inventory.
1.6 Maintain EHS documents and audit documents.
1.7 Risk assessment
1.8 Check Lifting operation (from 11and from 13)
1.9 Electrical safety
1.10 Basic knowledge about factory acts and safety rules
1.11 Safety training and review
1.12 Hazzard identification, ensure safety compliance
1.13 Maintain safe workplace
1.14 Fire safety (Inspect and monitoring of Fire extinguisher and fire hydrant)
Operation and maintenance of Fire Hydrant System and fire alarm system
2.1 Routine and periodic checking of fire hydrant system in plant.
2.2 Periodic Mock drill of fire hydrant system.
2.3 Carrying out preventive maintenance of the fire hydrant system
2.4 Monitoring Safety: Continuously monitor the workplace to ensure that employees adhere to safe operating procedures.
2.5 Emergency Preparedness: Develop evacuation plans and conduct fire safety drills.
2.6 Maintaining documents and records of incidents, preparing monthly data of incidents and analyzing.
2.7 Carrying out Monthly safety committee meetings and maintaining minutes of meetings and taking follow up.
3.0 Creating safety awareness by carrying out safety related training.
3.1 Initiating yearly safety week celebration and preparation for the celebration.
