Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA) Administrator to lead the administration, optimization, and scaling of our enterprise automation platform. This role requires advanced technical expertise in CP4BA components, containerized environments, and enterprise integrations hosted on AWS Cloud as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities: CP4BA on OCP/AWS Cloud.
- Lead and or support Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA) environments on Red Hat OpenShift based platforms.
- Install, configure, and upgrade IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA) components on OpenShift hosted in AWS Cloud.
- Support day to day administration of CP4BA platform and workloads, configuration, and maintenance, including patching.
- Configure and optimize CP4BA platform components workflow and content services, improve the application service performance.
- Periodically conduce capacity planning, load balancing, performance tuning and implement monitoring solution.
- Provide level 2/3 support for the FileNet / CP4BA environment including evening and weekend on call support on a rotational basis.
- Work closely with development, DevOps and support teams to support application deployments and configuration changes.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and processes.
- Lead root cause analysis for complex issues, performance bottlenecks and timely coordinate with OEM for issue resolutions.
- Accountable for ensuring functional and non-functional requirements are met and measurable in all environments.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and project managers to align automation strategy with business goals.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of CP4BA Administration, container orchestration including sound knowledge of IBM Case Manager.
- In Depth understanding of enterprise integration patterns and API management.
- Working knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes, container orchestration, CiCD and cloud-native deployments.
- Hands-on expertise setup and configure CP4BA platform and components on OCP cluster and domain expert in resolving incidents.
- Familiar with the use of scripts for automation of operational procedures (eg. shell scripting, Python, Powershell)
- Perform Second/third level support and acting as a technical resource for infrastructure and application projects, as well as creating and maintaining scripts to enhance our patching, build, and monitoring processes.
