.Net Developer with React @ Cognizant

Job Description

We are hiring a Full Stack .NET Developer with strong backend engineering depth and working frontend capability. The ideal candidate has built microservices in production, can articulate design decisions, and actively uses AI in their daily development workflow.

This is not a role for resume-listers. Candidates must demonstrate hands-on technical depth every technology claimed must be explainable end-to-end.

CORE TECH STACK

Platform: .NET Core / .NET 6+ APIs, DI, middleware, EF Core

Frontend: React components, hooks, state management, API integration

Language: C# SOLID, async/await, LINQ, design patterns

Micro Frontend: Module federation / micro frontend architecture

Architecture: Microservices, gRPC, REST APIs, GraphQL

Modern JS: ES6+ mandatory for Lead; others expected to upskill

Databases: MS SQL Server (primary), PostgreSQL

Infra / CDN: Fastly, Apache, Node.js

Cloud: Azure (preferred) / AWS / GCP at least one mandatory

CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or equivalent

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

Strong .NET Core fundamentals DI, EF Core, async/await, middleware. Must explain, not just list.

Hands-on microservices and gRPC experience in production

Cloud platform experience Azure / AWS / GCP (hard filter no exceptions)

Full stack capability React frontend + .NET backend; backend-only profiles not considered

AI tools in daily workflow Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor or equivalent; must explain how they validate AI-written code

Resume integrity can speak confidently to every technology and project listed

GOOD-TO-HAVE SKILLS

Service mesh Istio or Dapr

API gateway configuration

Message queues Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ

Docker and Kubernetes

Performance profiling, distributed caching strategies

Azure Functions / Serverless patterns
