We are seeking a skilled Data Centre Provisioning Engineer to join our Managed Service Provider (MSP) team. In this role, you will support the deployment, activation, and operational excellence of hyperscale data center network infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure seamless provisioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of complex network systems across large-scale environments.
Key Skills- L1/L2/L3 knowledge (VLANs, trunking, LACP, STP, LLDP, BGP), Hardware installation (optics, SCM, power, fans, line cards), Implementation and troubleshooting with field techs at DC.
Experience : 4 to 6 years
Location: Work from Tenarai (formerly Infogain) office, 5 days a week depending on business requirements
Notice period-immediate to 60 Days
Work model- work from office 5 days
Shift Timings : Night Shift
Job Description:
- Demonstrates deep understanding and hands-on experience with configuring and troubleshooting Layer 1/2/3 protocols and technologies, including VLANs, trunking, link aggregation (LACP), spanning tree (STP), LLDP, and BGP in a data center environment.
- Efficiently installs, replaces, and verifies hardware components such as optics, supervisor/control modules (SCM), power supplies, fans, and line cards, ensuring all installations meet operational and safety standards.
- Leads and collaborates with field technicians to implement network changes and resolve issues, providing clear guidance and technical expertise during onsite troubleshooting and provisioning activities.
- Technical Skills-Router, switches, servers and GPU deployment in AI powered Datacentres, Hardware, connectivity, RMA
