Job Description

Job Responsibilities
1. Operate the hoist safely as per instructions and site safety rules.
2. Check machine condition daily before starting duty (brake, limit switch, door interlock, emergency stop).
3. Ensure load does not exceed 1.5 Ton capacity of the hoist.
4. Allow only authorized persons to use the hoist.
5. Ensure passengers wear PPE (Helmet, Safety Belt, etc.).
6. Stop operation immediately in case of any fault, abnormal sound, or safety issue.
7. Maintain daily logbook / checklist of hoist operation.
8. Follow instructions of Site Engineer / Safety Officer.
9. Keep hoist cabin and surrounding area clean and safe.
10. Inform supervisor/mechanic about any breakdown or maintenance requirement.
