Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Configuration and troubleshooting of Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.
- Handson knowledge on Firewall (Fortinet, Palo Alto), Routers, Switches, Load Balancer, Link load Balancers, SD WAN is Mandatory.
- Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, SD WAN, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Monitor the connectivity & liaise with ISP for resolving connectivity related issues.
- Performing configuration backup of network devices
- Provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
- Design and implement firewall policies and rules that align with organizational security goals, ensuring optimal protection against internal and external threats.
- Regularly review and optimize firewall configurations to improve performance, reduce latency, and enhance security posture.
- Monitor firewall logs and alerts to identify potential threats or vulnerabilities and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Provide expertise and leadership in troubleshooting complex firewall-related issues and incidents.
- Management of Partners, Vendors, Third Party Services and Solutions.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., SSL VPN, S2S VPN, IPS/IDS, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, NAT).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
- Should have experience in field related to IT General Controls, Audit Information Security Controls and regulatory compliance audits, ISO Audit and RBI CSITE Audit.
- Accountable for SOP creation and its regular review of Network and Security devices and Procedure.
Job Requirements :
- 3-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
- Strong understanding of router configuration (e.g., Cisco ASA) and switching protocols (e.g., Ethernet).
- Experience with firewall administration (Palo Alto Firewall) and VPN setup/configuration.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting common networking issues using tools like ping/traceroute/mtr.
