Job Description

Role & responsibilities

chef specifically within a company similar establishmentsfocus on a mix of food preparation, kitchen maintenance, and staff supervision.

Assisting with food prep, specifically performing basic cooking on a fryer and grill.

  • Adhering to strict hygiene and sanitation standards (HACCP) in all kitchen areas.
  • Stock Management: Monitoring stock levels, placing orders with suppliers, and ensuring proper rotation (FIFO) to minimize waste.
  • Equipment Care: Ensuring all kitchen equipment is clean, in good working condition, and reporting any faults.
  • Setting up the kitchen with necessary utensils and equipment, such as knives, pans, and scales.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring food is prepared according to recipes, maintaining standards for presentation, and monitoring food stock.
  • Monitoring stock levels, assisting with deliveries,
  • Team Collaboration: Working with a team, specifically under the direction of a Head Chef, and contributing to a positive, fast-paced environment.

Preferred candidate profile

HSC, Candidate should have good knowledge in all the cuisine.

  • Strong knife skills and experience with fast-food or similar high-volume, quick-service environments.
