Senior Devops Engineer @ Globant

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of cloud infrastructure.
• Implement infrastructure as code and automation for efficient environment management.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and DevOps workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices in cloud infrastructure management.

Preferred candidate profile

6 to 12 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles.

• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong understanding of containerization, automation, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and system performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
