Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager for Clinical Nutrition Business i.e. Healthcare division to lead and drive our sales efforts, PAN India.


Job Description: Sales Manager Healthcare Division (PAN India)

Reporting To: Vice President Sales & Marketing


1. Role

To lead and drive the domestic Healthcare sales strategy across India, ensuring achievement of revenue, market share, and profitability targets. The role is responsible for building an efficient and effective sales force, supporting with robust distribution network, and leading high-performing sales teams across regions.


2. Key Responsibilities

A. Sales Strategy & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute PAN India sales strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Drive top-line growth, market penetration, and profitability
  • Identify new markets, channels, and growth opportunities
  • Lead new product launches and market expansion initiatives

B. PAN India Sales Operations

  • Lead nationwide sales operations across Zonal / Regional / Area teams
  • Deliver primary and secondary sales targets
  • Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities
  • Ensure effective sales planning, forecasting, and execution

C. Distribution & Channel Management

  • Expand and strengthen distribution network across India
  • Manage multi-channel presence:
    • Pharma & healthcare channels
    • General Trade / Retail
    • Hospital network
  • Drive channel partner engagement and performance

D. Institutional & Key Account Management

  • Build and manage relationships with:
    • Hospitals and healthcare institutions
    • Doctors, dieticians, and nutrition experts
    • Large distributors and key accounts

E. Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop national sales team
  • Define KPIs and drive performance management
  • Build strong field force capability and productivity
  • Ensure alignment and accountability across regions
  • Developing internal talent

F. Financial & Commercial Management

  • Own sales budgeting, forecasting, and revenue planning
  • Ensure profitability and margin management
  • Monitor collections, receivables, and credit control
  • Optimize costs and sales efficiency

G. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR Team
  • Ensure product availability and demand planning
  • Support development of market-relevant products

3. Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA / Postgraduate in Sales & Marketing (preferred)
  • 1820 years of experience in sales, with 5+ years in leadership roles
  • Experience in managing PAN India sales operations in Hospital Business preferably Critical care, Oncology or Nephrology
  • Industry exposure: Nutraceuticals / Pharma / Healthcare
