Should have Strong Functional Knowledge
2 - 4 years of hands-on experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on functional testing and specific expertise in investment banking (IB) systems.
Proficient knowledge and experience in conducting database (DB) testing within the software testing domain.
Execute comprehensive functional testing of software applications to ensure compliance with quality standards and business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve software defects and performance issues within IB systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive system testing to ensure applications meet the specified requirements and standards before deployment.
Identify defects and ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner, working closely with development teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business analysts to define testing strategies and ensure quality at every phase of the software development lifecycle.
Mentor and guide junior testers, facilitating knowledge sharing and promoting best practices within the team.
Perform sanity testing on new builds to verify that critical functionalities are working as expected after code changes.
Ensure quick turnaround on feedback to facilitate fast-paced development cycles.
Design, develop, and execute functional test cases for investment banking applications to ensure they fulfil operational and regulatory requirements.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential usability and functionality issues.
Utilize SQL knowledge to validate data integrity and perform backend testing to ensure that data operations align with business logic and functional requirements.
