We are hiring Payment Posting for our facility in Pune and Mumbai.
The Payment Posters have to work from office upon joining.
The details are as under:
Job Description and Essentials:
- Responsible for making charge posting, payment posting, denial management, claims rejections, eligibility verification for members.
- Ensure that the quality and production meet Industry Standards.
- Daily review and follow up on outstanding claims on aging. Monthly billing of claims and responsible to handle the month end close for facilities.
- Should have knowledge of the entire Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
- Sound knowledge of U.S. Healthcare Domain (Provider side) methods for improvement on the same
- Constantly keep track of both electronic and paper claims.
- Review provider claims that have not been paid by insurance companies
- Responsible to review any major rejections or denials from clearing houses/Carriers.
- Responsible to keep a track for payments and EOBs from major Carriers, pay-to-Address, Provider Numbers etc.
- Receives and reviews Explanation of Benefits (EOB)/ Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA)documents, matches with Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs)/ other deposits.
- Captures all transaction information, updates appropriate accounts.
- Compiles list of denied claims, transmits to denial management team for follow up.
- Compiles list of pending and share to the leads on end of the day.
- Reviews updates to Fee Schedules and Allowed Amounts for all applicable payers and ensures that provider s contracts remain current and accurate.
- Post the patient payments to appropriate account.
- Track the manual checks and work with leads to convert them to EFT and ERA.
- Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate company core values and commitment to quality and customer service.
- Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position, handles all protected health information in a manner consistent with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulation Must be available for special projects.
Qualifying Criteria:
- At least 1+ yrs of experience in payment posting in US Healthcare (End to End RCM Process).
- Ability to multi-task.
- Good organization skills demonstrating the ability to execute timely follow-ups.
- Willingness to be a team player and show initiative where needed.
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills
Salary: Remuneration will be at par with the best industry standards; will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
