Job Title: Java Technical Architect
Experience: 12+ Years
Location: Mumbai / Bangalore / Gurugram
CTC: Up to 45 LPA
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Java Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise solutions across Java (Spring Boot) and .NET ecosystems.
This role requires a strong mix of technical leadership, hands-on architecture, and strategic decision-making to drive innovation and modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture considering scalability, performance, security, and business requirements
- Provide technical leadership across Java and .NET teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices
- Conduct architecture assessments, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies (e.g., Monolith Microservices)
- Define and drive technical roadmaps aligned with business goals and emerging technology trends
- Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and tools (Java 21, .NET 8, etc.)
- Establish and enforce architecture governance, standards, and guidelines
- Stay updated with emerging technologies (Cloud Native, AI/ML integrations) and drive innovation
- Review and approve system designs, architecture documents, and technical solutions
- Drive process improvements and DevOps adoption for enhanced delivery efficiency
- Architect and implement high-availability, low-latency APIs (1 sec response time) on Azure/AWS
- Lead containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes
- Build POCs, frameworks, and reusable components to support architecture decisions
- Ensure robust CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Mandatory Skills
- Java (Backend): 5+ years (Java 17/21)
- Spring Boot: Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Cloud
- .NET Core / .NET 8: Architecture and solution design experience
- Microservices Architecture: Design patterns, Service Mesh, Event-driven systems
- Cloud (3+ years): Azure (AKS, Functions, SQL, Cosmos DB) or AWS equivalent
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
- Testing Strategy: Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Testcontainers
- Database: Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling
- Legacy Modernization: Experience transforming legacy systems to modern architectures
- Hands-on Architecture: POC development, problem-solving, framework creation
Nice to Have
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Solutions Architect certification
- Exposure to Frontend technologies (React/Angular) for full-stack alignment (~20%)
