Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with strong automation testing experience and solid exposure to the Payment domain. The candidate should be proficient in designing test strategies, validating complex payment workflows, and ensuring quality across applications. Experience with Java and Selenium is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automation test solutions for web and API applications
• Validate endtoend payment workflows, transactions, and integrations
• Create and maintain automated test frameworks as per project requirements
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Validate payment-related scenarios such as authorization, settlement, reconciliation, refunds, and chargebacks
• Conduct API testing for payment services and integrations
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business teams in Agile/Scrum environment
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure timely closure
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience as SDET / Automation Test Engineer
• Hands-on experience in Automation Testing (UI and/or API)
• Proven experience in the Payment domain (Banking, Cards, Wallets, Gateway, Transactions)
• Good understanding of payment processing lifecycle
• Experience in test design, test execution, and defect management
• Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies
