This position will be part of the North America Beverage organisation
This position contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by supporting the Commercial team with key reporting and analysis of performance by Channel, Brand, Customer and Sales Area against key deliverables
Role will be responsible for providing data and analytics leadership to the commercial team, including data acquisition and validation, as well as interpretation of the results
This role also provides meaningful insights and recommendations to the Sales Leadership team across our Sector and/or Division teams
In addition to people management, sales leader will additionally continuously identify opportunities and implement processes to improve quality and timeliness of team output
Responsibilities
Support Commercial function with performance reporting against established KPIs, including ad-hoc reporting requests using internal and shipment / POS data and market data systems (IRI)
Develop on-demand reports and Scorecards delivering improved agility through ease of access and enhanced visualisation
Collate and format large and complex sets of data across multiple channels, customers and sales areas. Analyse data to distil meaningful insights on performance trends and opportunities
Analyse key innovation or portfolio activity effectiveness to monitor return on investment and identify opportunities for improvement and customisation by Channel, Brand, Customer and/or Market
Assist with field sales execution and compliance reporting
Present insights and recommendations to Sales Leadership team on a established time period and in a clear, concise manner
Manage expectations through verbal and written interactions with headquarter partners
Ensure delivery of accurate and timely data in accordance with agreed service level agreements (SLA)
Work across multiple functions to aid in collecting insights for action-oriented cause of change analysis
Ability to focus against speed of execution and quality of service delivery rather than achievement of SLAs
Recognise opportunities and take action to improve delivery of work
Implement continued improvements and simplifications of processes, standardisation of reporting and optimal use of technology
Create an inclusive and collaborative environment
Qualifications
7+ years of progressive experience in Sales or Sales Management
Bachelors degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance required; Masters degree preferred
Prior experience within a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) organisation required
Demonstrated experience in Data Analytics and Reporting, with strong expertise in Power BI required
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability and willingness to quickly learn and navigate PepsiCo systems and software
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and effectively support internal stakeholders
Outstanding time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, multitask, and manage competing priorities and deadlines
