Job Description

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer with strong handson expertise in Microsoft Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, and automation frameworks. Experience in Microsoft Playwright automation testing is mandatory. The ideal candidate should be able to design, implement, and maintain robust test automation suites and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Microsoft Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
• Build scalable automation frameworks using TestNG or similar test frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Implement automation as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
• Analyze test results, prepare reports, and identify root causes of failures.
• Ensure automation best practices, code quality, and reusability.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and grooming discussions.

Preferred candidate profile:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG.

• Good scripting/programming skills (Java / TypeScript / JavaScript)

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge of API automation (RestAssured, Postman, etc.)
• Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber
• Cloud testing exposure (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
