Experience: 5 years to 8 years
Job Location: Kolkata
Shift: 24x7
Education:
- Bachelor's/masters in computer science or equivalent (can be marked optional or flexible)
- 3+ years of experience in Power BI development
Responsibilities -
- Data Sourcing: Connecting Power BI to various data sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and cloud services.
- Data Transformation: Cleaning and shaping data to ensure its suitability for analysis.
- Data Modeling: Designing data models that support reporting and analysis.
- Report Creation: Developing interactive and informative reports.
- Dashboard Development: Building dashboards for a consolidated view of key metrics.
- Performance Optimization: Ensuring reports and queries run efficiently.
- Collaboration: Working closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide data-driven insights.
- Data Integration: Connecting Power BI to various data sources and ensuring data flows smoothly.
- Data Security: Implementing data security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Documentation: Maintaining documentation for data models, reports, and dashboards.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving data-related issues.
- Monitoring and maintain the dashboard in Power Bi service
- Integrate and maintain the related Power Platform services
Skills Required -
- Technical Proficiency: A deep understanding of Power BI's technical aspects.
- Data Acumen: An ability to work with data, including data cleansing and transformation.
- Analytical Thinking: The capacity to extract insights and trends from data.
- Visualization Skills: Creating compelling visual representations of data.
- Communication: Translating data insights into understandable narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-Oriented: Paying meticulous attention to data accuracy and report quality.
- Problem Solving: Identifying and addressing data-related challenges
- Capable of managing the dashboard in Power Bi service
- Ability to integrate with Power platforms like Power Apps and Power Automate
