We are looking for an experienced Network Support Engineer
Infoblox SME with strong expertise in Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), Routing & Switching, Wireless, Cisco ISE, and Cisco ACI. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing enterprise network infrastructure, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring network availability and security.
Role Overview
The Network Support Engineer Infoblox SME will be responsible for managing Infoblox network services, supporting enterprise LAN and network infrastructure, and handling network monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution activities.
The role includes working on implementation and support projects involving Routing, Switching, Wireless, Cisco ISE, Cisco ACI, and DNS/DHCP/IPAM services. The candidate should have strong exposure to network configuration, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Mandatory Skills (Must Have)
Strong hands-on experience in Infoblox (NIOS Platform)
Hands-on expertise in:
DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM)
Infoblox Configuration and Administration
Backup, Restore, Upgrades, and Patching
Experience in:
Routing & Switching Technologies
Wireless Networking
Cisco ISE
Cisco ACI
Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
LAN Infrastructure Support (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAC)
Strong knowledge of:
TCP/IP Networking Concepts
DNS/DHCP/IPAM Technologies
Routing Protocols EIGRP, BGP, ISIS
Switching Protocols STP, RSTP
Experience supporting:
Priority 1 and Priority 2 Incident Handling
Level 3 Network Support
Network Documentation and Reporting
Key Responsibilities
Infoblox Administration
- Configure and manage Infoblox appliances
- Maintain DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) services
- Perform backup, restore, upgrades, and patching
- Troubleshoot DNS/DHCP/IPAM-related issues
Network Monitoring & Support
- Monitor network performance and availability
- Troubleshoot network issues and resolve incidents
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Provide Level 3 support for network incidents
Network Infrastructure Support
- Support LAN infrastructure, including VLANs, NAC, Wireless, and DNS services
- Work on Routing & Switching protocols
- Maintain documentation of configurations and changes
Good to Have Skills
Knowledge of Load Balancers
Experience with Network Monitoring Tools
Exposure to Network Automation or Scripting
