Job Description
We are looking for a CPU Verification Engineer with strong hands-on experience in processor verification to join our growing semiconductor/VLSI team.
Experience Required 5-10 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute verification plans for CPU / processor subsystems
- Build UVM-based verification environments from scratch
- Create test plans, test cases, and functional coverage models
- Debug RTL issues and work closely with design and architecture teams
- Perform constrained-random verification
- Analyze simulation results and track coverage closure
- Support regression runs and verification sign-off activities
Required Skills
- Strong experience in CPU / Processor Verification
- Expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM
- Experience with testbench architecture development
- Knowledge of ISA-based verification (e.g., ARM / RISC-V / x86 any one preferred)
- Experience with debugging at subsystem / SoC level
- Familiarity with scripting (Python / Perl / Shell) is a plus
- Exposure to coverage-driven verification methodology
Good to Have
- Experience with formal verification
- Experience in performance verification
- Exposure to cache coherence protocols
- Low-power verification knowledge (UPF/CPF)
Education
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics / VLSI / Electrical Engineering or related field
