Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver to join our dynamic team at Tech Mahindra, Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have 57 years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record of designing and executing automated test scripts. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or TestRail, ensuring timely resolution.
- Perform regression testing to validate new features and safeguard existing functionality.
- Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on testability and quality aspects.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
- Mentor and provide training to junior testing team members.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver for automated testing.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Solid understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential issues.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of API testing using Postman or SoapUI.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 57 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
