Job Description

Role Summary:
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented PMO professional (TL / AM level) to support and drive project governance, MIS reporting, and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally strong in Excel, Power BI, and MIS, with proven hands-on experience in end-to-end project management and reporting. Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Governance

  • Support and manage multiple projects/programs across teams, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and quality.
  • Drive project planning, tracking, risk and issue management.
  • Ensure compliance with PMO frameworks, processes, and best practices.
  • Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
  • Proactively identify project risks and dependencies and recommend mitigation plans.

MIS & Reporting

  • Own and manage MIS reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance.
  • Build and automate dashboards using Advanced Excel and Power BI.
  • Provide actionable insights to senior leadership through data analysis.
  • Track KPIs, SLAs, resource utilization, budgets, and milestones.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes and data visualization standards.

Data Analysis & Tools

  • Use advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, Macros preferred) for analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for real-time project and performance tracking.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into dashboards/MIS.

Stakeholder & Team Management

  • Act as a key point of contact between project teams, leadership, and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor junior PMO team members.
  • Drive effective communication across teams to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Very strong hands-on expertise in Excel (advanced level)
  • Strong experience in Power BI (dashboard creation, data modeling, visualization)
  • Proven experience in MIS reporting and analytics
  • Solid understanding of Project Management methodologies (Agile / Waterfall / Hybrid)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification is a plus
  • Experience in PMO setup, transformation, or governance roles
  • Exposure to tools like MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, or similar
