Skill: Oracle DBA with on prem (AWS or Azure is additional Advantage)
Location: Bangalore, Coimbatore, Hyderabad
Experience: 6 to 8 years L3 Support
Shift: 24/7 Rotational shift

Role & responsibilities
Oracle Database OnPrem Support JD ( L3)
Role Overview
Responsible for supporting and administering Oracle databases hosted in onpremise data centres, ensuring stability, performance, security, and high availability in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle databases in onprem DC environments
- Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle DB (11g / 12c / 18c / 19c)
- Manage HA/DR setups Oracle RAC and Data Guard
- Perform RMAN backups, restores, and DR validation activities
- Monitor database health, performance, storage, and capacity
- Execute performance tuning (SQL tuning, AWR/ASH analysis)
- Troubleshoot issues related to RAC, Data Guard, storage, and OS
- Implement and maintain security controls (roles, privileges, encryption)
- Support incident, problem, and change management
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and operational documentation
Mandatory Skills
- Strong handson with Oracle DBA OnPrem
- Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN
- Linux/Unix OS knowledge
- SQL & PL/SQL
- Enterprise monitoring tools
Oracle Database Cloud Support JD (L3)
Role Overview
Responsible for operating and supporting Oracle databases in cloud platforms, enabling scalable, secure, and automationdriven database operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle databases in cloud environments
- Support Oracle databases hosted on:
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Oracle on AWS / Azure (IaaSbased deployments)
- Perform provisioning, upgrades, patching, and scaling
- Manage cloudbased HA/DR, backups, and recovery strategies
- Support onprem to cloud migrations and cloud modernization initiatives
- Performance tuning with focus on cost and workload optimization
- Troubleshoot cloudspecific issues:
- Network, security groups, VCN/VNet integration
- Enable and support automation using scripts / IaC (where applicable)
- Collaborate with application and cloud platform teams
- Maintain cloud operational runbooks and SOPs
Mandatory Skills
- Oracle DB on OCI / AWS / Azure
- Oracle HA/DR architectures in cloud
- Understanding of cloud networking and security
- RMAN, SQL, PL/SQL
- Exposure to automation / IaC tools (preferred)
Common Expectations (OnPrem & Cloud)
- ITILaligned handling of INC / PRB / CHG
- 24x7 / oncall support (if applicable)
- Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication
- Experience in enterprisescale production environments
