Mechanical/Hydraulic Design Engineer @ Quess Corp

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Mechanical/Hydraulic systems for specific application areas.
• Perform detailed analysis of Mechanical/Hydraulic systems to ensure performance and reliability.
• Define and document technical selection specifications for components and equipment.
• Interpret and apply international standards such as ISO, IEC, and ANSI in design and documentation.
• Troubleshoot system issues and propose effective engineering solutions.
• Develop and review engineering drawings in compliance with ISO drafting standards.
• Ensure proper integration and interface understanding between Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support design, development, and validation activities.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Hydraulic systems and components.
• Hands-on experience in system analysis and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of international engineering standards (ISO, IEC, ANSI).
• Knowledge of ISO drafting standards for engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with components such as bearings, transmission systems, axles, engines, coolers, pumps, switches, etc.
• Good understanding of system-level interfaces (Mechanical/Hydraulic/Electrical).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with UG/NX in Teamcenter integrated environment.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar CAD tools.
