Urgent State Sales Head Vacancy in a Well Know Multinational Company
Location: Cochin
Qualification: MBA from reputed institute
Experience: 5+ years' experience as a State Head or equivalent
Salary: 15 to 20 lacs. No bar for right candidate

Job Brief
We are looking for an experienced State sales Head to contribute to our company's sales & Distribution objectives. Your responsibilities include supervising the sales team, Building distribution footprint within the state, training the sales team, building strong long term relation with the channel partners, establishing cost effective distribution model, setting up infrastructure for company's product distribution exploring alternative channel for the company.
As a State sales Head, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth. Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position.
Ultimately, you should aspire to develop and maintain successful relationships with channel partners & lead a motivated team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies & mapping of distribution footprint for the State
- Lead team members to achieve sales targets both primary & secondary along with other KPI deliverables.
- Lead Team to deliver Promotional activities like product launching, brand promotion through display contest and lucky draws both for retailer and consumer, collecting consumer feedback.
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers/ accounts.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
- Perform research and identify new potential channels and new market opportunities.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Supply Chain departments to ensure execution of all marketing initiative as well as supply chain issues.
- Stay up-to-date with new/competitive product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as State Head or equivalent in FMCG with 5+ years' experience as a State Head. in FMCG.
- Experience managing a high performance sales team & distribution setting up.
- Knowledge of State of Kerala
- An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
- Strong communication and team management skills
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude. Self-Motivated.
- Availability to travel as needed.
- MBA from reputed institute.
