Job Description
Role
You will lead engineering across:
- Frontend experience (web & app)
- Backend systems & platform scalability
- AI service orchestration across multiple models
- Engineering execution, guild leadership, and release discipline
Key Responsibilities
- Own engineering standards across frontend and backend through strong technical reviews and architectural guidance
- Architect and scale high-performance frontend and backend systems
- Maintain a high bar for product quality, ensuring the platform feels fast, reliable, and polished to end users.
- Build monitoring, logging, and evaluation frameworks for AI services
- Improve platform reliability, latency, and deployment discipline
- Improve engineering execution by identifying technical bottlenecks, simplifying architecture, and enabling faster, more reliable releases.
- Occasionally dive deep to debug or fix critical systems
Ideal Profile
- 7 to 11 years building and scaling consumer-facing products
- Strong hands-on expertise in modern frontend frameworks and backend architecture
- Experience integrating and operating AI/LLM-based services
- Proven track record improving reliability, performance, and engineering standards in growing teams
- Deep understanding of system design, observability, and performance optimization
- Experience leading agile engineering teams with strong execution discipline
