Job Summary
The Company Serviced Head (Business Development Head) will lead business growth by driving market expansion, signing profitable properties, and managing a high-performing business development team. This role is responsible for achieving revenue, margin, and supply targets through strategic planning, partnerships, and strong execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company growth goals
- Identify new markets, expansion opportunities, and competitive trends
- Track market shifts, pricing dynamics, and new product launches
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Development Managers
- Set targets, monitor performance, and ensure consistent achievement of KPIs
- Coach the team on lead generation, negotiations, and deal closures
Property Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with property owners, real estate brokers, and channel partners
- Negotiate commercial terms and close high-value property sign-ups
- Maintain long-term, profitable associations with property owners
Revenue & Profitability Ownership
- Drive monthly targets for sellable rooms signed and made live
- Ensure gross margin and profitability benchmarks are met for signed properties
- Monitor unit economics and improve property performance post-onboarding
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Operations, Transformation, Legal, and Central teams
- Ensure smooth property onboarding and SLA adherence
- Conduct periodic reviews and resolve operational or compliance issues
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of sellable rooms signed and activated per month
- Gross margin generated from onboarded properties
- Team target achievement and productivity metrics
Education & Experience
Qualification
- Graduation required
- MBA preferred
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales leadership
- Prior team handling experience is mandatory
- Exposure to hospitality, real estate, or allied sectors preferred
- Proven experience in strategic planning, negotiations, and stakeholder management
