Job Description
Job Title: TMT / ECG Technician
Department: Cardiology / NonInvasive Cardiology
Location: Apollo Hospitals , Ahmedabad
Job Summary
The TMT / ECG Technician at Apollo Hospitals is responsible for performing electrocardiography (ECG), Treadmill Tests (TMT), and other noninvasive cardiac investigations, ensuring patient safety, quality diagnostics, and adherence to Apollo Clinical Excellence and NABH standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ECG, TMT (Stress Test), Holter, and Ambulatory BP Monitoring as per Apollo protocols
- Prepare and educate patients before procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
- Assist cardiologists during TMT and other cardiac diagnostic procedures
- Closely monitor patients vital signs, ECG changes, and symptoms during stress testing
- Handle emergency situations during procedures according to Apollo emergency response guidelines
- Ensure accurate documentation, data recording, and timely report generation
- Maintain, calibrate, and ensure proper functioning of ECG & TMT equipment
- Follow infection control, safety, and quality standards as per NABH & Apollo policies
- Maintain patient confidentiality and clinical documentation standards
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / Certificate in ECG, TMT, Cardiac Technology, or Medical Laboratory Technology
- Minimum 13 years experience in a multispecialty or cardiac care hospital
- Experience in JCI / NABHaccredited hospital preferred
- Freshers with relevant certification may be considered
